Our canopy tours are fully guided eco-adventures in the canopy of the forest. Your adventure begins with registration at our Welcome Center where you can see photos from tours earlier that day as well as a short preview video. A short drive onto property takes you to base camp where you’ll meet your guides and gear-up. Then it’s off to Ground School where you’ll learn the basics of zip lining such as hand signals, positioning, braking, and self-rescue. After Ground School it’s Time To Fly.
The Full Canopy Tour is our original 2 to 2½ hour*, fully guided, Eco-Adventure. You’ll traverse 8 exhilarating zip lines in the canopy of the forest, including The Beast. Once you leave the first platform you will be up in the trees for 1½ to 2 hours while you cross 5 tree-mendous SkyBridges, including one of the longest in the lower 48 states, ascend 3 spiral stairways, as well as a one-of-a-kind “floating” double helix stairway which wraps around a beautiful Ash tree. As an added bonus The Full Canopy Tour also includes the 1,200' Dual Racing Zip, at no additional charge, when available**.
The Short Course (also known as The Short Course) is our new 1 to 1¼ hour, fully guided, Eco-Adventure. With no stairs to climb and no bridges to cross, it's specially designed for groups that are short on time or tight on budget. Developed with scout troops, school outings and bus tour groups in mind the Short Course is also the perfect bonding experience after team building. You’ll traverse 4 really cool zip lines in the canopy of the forest, take a controlled zip down to ground followed by a short hike out of the woods. The Short Course is available for groups of 8 or more every day, all for the very special price of only $45 per person. Reservations are required. Call for details. Need more? You can add the Dual Racing Zip for just $10 per person. (Short Course reservations booked November 1st - March 31st receive one complimentary Dual Racing Zip per person)
During your tour you’ll enjoy spectacular views of the forest, a variety of wildlife, Lake Como, and the surrounding countryside.
