There’s one important fact that everyone working at Lake Geneva Canopy Tours soon comes to understand. That fact is that it’s never a good idea to make a bet with our Course Manager, Phil. Unfortunately, Bud did not learn this quickly enough.
Bud made that bet.
Bud lost that bet.
As a result he is now condemned to wear this getup on Saturday, January 21st on his trip down the Racing Zip at 1:00 PM. If you recognize Bud’s outfit, it may be that it reminds you a certain 80′s transvestite rock opera:

Bud’s mostly-nekkid, gold lamé, 45 MPH penance will be the kickoff for the Team SnowBike Enduro taking place that afternoon. More details, and schedule of bike race at Fat-Bike.com. In short:
9:00 – 11:00 – Pre-Ride the course
11:00 – Noon – Registration
12:15 – Team Rider Draft (Team Captains pick riders like in 5th grade gym class)
1:00 – Race Starts – Bud’s Sub-Zero Zip to kick-off the LeMans Start –something fun!
4:00 – Finish & Awards
There will be refreshments, an expo area, and a campfire to keep warm. Join us for the day, reserve your spot on a canopy tour, or just come for the show. We hope to see you there!
