Every adult participant must sign an Adult Waiver and Release Form. Participants under the age of 18 must sign a Minor Waiver and Release Form which must also be signed by a parent or legal guardian. Closed toe and heel shoes are required. The zip line canopy tour is designed for use by participants of average mobility and strength, and who are in reasonably good health. Participants must weigh between 70 to 250 pounds. All participants are weighed at check-in, please call if you have any questions. The minimum age is 7 years old, however, children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and must be able to participate independently of the adult. Each participant must be physically able to control the speed of their travel along the zip lines by breaking on the cable with leather gloves. Each participant must be able pull themselves along the zip line cable a few feet in the event they lose momentum before reaching any given landing platform. There is a short “nature walk” to Ground School at the beginning the tour on an unpaved trail, 4 spiral stairways and 5 suspension bridges. Each participant must be able to complete all course elements. The tour is approximately as challenging as climbing three or four flights of stairs. Pregnant women, people with heart, leg, or back problems, or other serious illnesses will not be allowed to participate in the tour. No one under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or impairing legal drugs, will be allowed to participate in the tour.
